Roped over a rustic rope and pulley light - Vintage Prairie Style

A rustic rope and pulley light totally easy to make! by Vintage Prairie Style featured on I Love That Junk

This cool rope and pulley light is total proof that you can make a light out of most anything!

Keya is a bit of a junker herself and picked up a cool, rusty pulley from an antique market. (nice choice!!) Next up was to get a light cord kit. Safety first, plus that would make this project way easier too.

She used a fab method with the rope to hide the light cord... very clever!

The addition of the authentic pulley makes it appear as if these two items were found as a team. A truly authentic take!

What I love about this:

This project speaks to me on all counts. If you're a junker, you crave the gritty and rustic. LOVE the tones on the pieces. To me it's a real treat to not see metal painted because the colour of rust IS beautiful, wouldn't you agree?
