From old window to vintage botanical - Common Ground

Lovely tone on tone vintage botanical art with an old window frame, by Common Ground, featured on I Love That Junk

If you're desiring a lovely, natural work of art, look no further than your backyard. This vintage botanical window art can be created with a little careful choosing and waiting time.

Debra landed a 1930's college notebook filled with dried botanicals and decided to take them out of hiding, creating a work of art that could proudly be displayed in her home.

What a find! Delicate petals and fragile branches had been book pressed, fading to a perfect palette of natural neutrals.

Teaming up the prints to an old window provided the perfect backdrop to enjoy the vintage botanicals in full view every single day.
What I LOVE about this:

Aside from it being a gorgeous work of art, I truly am in love with the real authentic botanicals. Anyone could do this... just go pick a few buds off of flowers or trees, book press them and see what happens! Free art with just a little waiting time.
