Illuminated letters - Two Thirty Five Designs

Illuminated letters as wall art, by Two Thirty Five Designs, featured on I Love That Junk

If you like illuminated letters and signs, you will LOVE this easy to do tutorial with a monogram twist!

Allison was in love with illuminated letters, but didn't want to deal with cutting metal, so she created her twist with easy supplies anyone can find in a jiffy.

She shopped Hobby Lobby and came up with a super cool way to use chipboard letters and cardboard.

Allison does confess the lights get VERY hot, so please create this at your own risk and play it safer using bulbs that don't get hot and make sure all your electrical contacts clear any paper type surfaces.

What I LOVE about this:

Art and light all in one.. a cool idea for a night light for certain! And I just adore the idea of the monogram. They kind of look like portholes, don't they? Neat!
